THE CHALET
Overview
Chalet Spieliweida is located on the edge of the forest, right next to the ski slope (ski-in/ski-out) with spectacular views over the imposing Swiss Alps. Shops, restaurants and other amenities in the village center are within short walking distance.
The enchanting Spieliweida estate comprises old trees that are habitat for squirrels and birds, alpine meadows that invite to play or lounge in the sun, a fountain that can serve as paddling pool in summer as well as a little wooden cabin and an old barn. The main house sleeps 8-10 guests in four bedrooms. It extends over three floors suffused with light.
Main floor
The main floor features the living and dining area with spectacular views and high-grade finishes. Indulge yourself with a delicious cheese fondue on the wood corner bench. Drop in the prestigious real leather sofa in front of the fire to discuss the events of the day, enjoy a movie on the modern entertainment system or surf the internet.
The fully equipped separate kitchen features a ceramic stove top, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette set, fondue set and other amenities.
The spacious, newly renovated double room with a king size bed offers the typical charm of a Swiss chalet with indirectly illuminated wood beams. It also features a large wardrobe with plenty of storage space.
Furthermore, the main floor includes a bathroom with shower/WC and a big south-west facing balcony that connects to the garden.
Top floor
The top floor comprises of three double bedrooms. Two bedrooms are equipped with a king size double bed and plenty of storage space (wardrobe and dresser). The third bedroom, also renovated in 2016, features a solid-wood bunk bed and single bed with an extendable extra bed. This way the third bedroom can sleep up to four people.
All bedrooms are fitted with parquet flooring. The bathroom invites for a relaxing bath, enjoying the views through the skylight.
Ground floor
The main entrance and access to the front garden is located on the ground floor. When you come back from an exciting day on the ski slopes or the hiking trails you will appreciate the cozily heated ski room to change out of your outdoor clothes and store your equipment right next to the entrance.
Furthermore, the ground floor offers the laundry/boiler room with a washing machine and space for hanging clothes.
The property sits on a 2,000 square meter natural garden with trees.
