Welcome to Chalet Spieliweida! Chalet Spieliweida is magnificently sited overlooking Grächen, a little village on a sunny plateau over the Zermatt-valley
Grächen is a well known vacation destination , awarded best family ski resort in Switzerland. It is a small, charming and mostly car-free village that offers a wide array of winter and summer activities to visitors. Situated at an altitude of 1,620 meters, Grächen can be reached conveniently all year round by car or public transportation.
The property is located on the edge of the forest, right next to the ski slope (ski-in/ski-out) with spectacular views over the imposing Swiss Alps. Shops, restaurants and other amenities in the village center are within short walking distance.
Sleeping 8-10 guests, the chalet extends over three floors suffused with light. The main floor consists of living and dining area with fireplace, separate kitchen, double room, bathroom with as well as a vast south-west facing balcony. The top floor has three more spacious double bedrooms, one bathroom and two balconies. The ground floor contains the entrance, ski room and laundry/boiler room.
Shops, bakeries, restaurants and pharmacy can be reached in only a few minutes by foot. Click here for more information.
"Wir haben über Ostern ein paar fantastische Tage im Chalet Spieliweida verbracht. Das Chalet ist komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren mit zwei Familien (insgesamt 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) dort. Die Platzverhältnisse waren optimal. Die Kinder haben es genossen im Haus und ums Haus herum im Schnee zu spielen und Ostereier zu suchen.
Das Chalet liegt etwas erhöht am oberen Dorfrand. Dies ermöglicht von allen Etagen eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berggipfel. Trotzdem ist die Lage ideal direkt an der Skipiste und nur wenige Schritte vom Dorfzentrum mit den Läden, Restaurants, Bars etc. entfernt.
Beim Skifahren sind wir voll auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Auch wenn der Schnee am Nachmittag zum Teil schon etwas nass war, wurden die Pisten jeden Tag bestens präpariert. Der direkte Zugang zur Skipiste ist natürlich ein weiteres Plus.
